"I know you! I walked with you once upon a dream.
I know you! The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam.
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem.
But if I know you, I know what you'll do -
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream."
- Aurora, "Once Upon a Dream," Disney's Sleeping Beauty

Aurora is the title character of the 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty. Aurora was cursed as an infant; it was said she would die by pricking her finger on a spinning wheel before her sixteenth birthday.

She was hidden away and raised by fairies in order to avoid this fate. The spell could only be broken by a kiss from her true love.

Use pairs of curved lines to draw the arm, noting the overlap at the bend of the elbow. Use curved lines to sketch the hand and the long, delicate fingers. Finally, outline the torso using a curved line.

Color your cartoon of Aurora. Her dress is most famously blue, but it changes color over and over as she dances with the prince in the classic film's final scene. Why? Because her fairy godmothers are arguing over the color!
